I really enjoyed looking into the lighting aspects in our country home. I wanted to keep the warm rustic look and feel throughout the home. Here are several examples of rustic kitchen lighting ideas that I used to guide us in our own kitchen remodeling.
This is a great example of traditional overhead lighting with a fan/light structure over the kitchen island and eating space, but combined with pendant lights positioned over the work spaces. The warm wood cabinetry creates a very cozy, up north, feel. From Hashook.
I love this example because it combines contemporary granite counter tops, plumbing fixtures, and trendy down lights in a very rustic log cabin setting. Might not be for everyone, but it’s a great example.
This example is actually very close to our own. We have a small galley area for cooking we used these rather industrial lighting looking pendant lamps throughout the cook spaces. It creates a warm yet still well light kitchen area. From Beautiful Life.
I included this one because it’s frck’n gorgeous, but completely impractical for 98% of us on a budget. I love the “hewn” look the stone and wood provide. Notice the antler chandelier lighting over the eating area and the down lights over the work areas. From Luxury House Design.
I love this idea. It’s looks like a relatively easy DIY project if you are handy with tools. Not so sure about the choice in lamps, but I love the rustic look. From Early Learning Community.
Here’s another relatively easy DIY project you can do with in expensive materials. The toughest part is probably hoisting that beam up safely. But I like this look and it’s suitable for almost any room to give it a rustic look and feel.
